Lynxia Warning System

Lynxia has a warning system. Here I explain exactly how this system works and what you need to consider.

Overview

Lynxia received a system with the v45 update to give users more insight into how they are treated. Lynxia has always kept previous violations in mind and acted accordingly. But now there is an official solution from Lynxia.

Users have the opportunity to see how many warnings they have. These also determine how they are treated.

Consequences

  • First Warning: Everything is still in the green area.
  • Second Warning: It slowly becomes critical.
  • Third Warning: The user can be banned from the platform without prior notice.

Important Notes

The fact that there is now a warning system does not mean that serious offenses will only be punished as a warning. The ban/warning list from https://web.lynxia.org/docs/community-guidelines/#13-toc-title still applies.

"Minor" offenses will only be punished with a warning.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A user can have a maximum of 5 warnings. Upon the sixth warning, the user will be immediately suspended. The duration of the suspension depends on the user's offenses.
A warning is valid for the user forever. The warnings remain until the user gets banned.
The user has 2 weeks to appeal a warning through support. The 2-week period begins from the moment the user received the warning.
